Thanks so much to our many customers who have reminded us why we're here - because you guys are GREAT and we love helping you make sure your Pets are well sorted. We've even welcomed and helped many new customers over the last 2 weeks - and we thank them for coming in! Remember, our mission here is not only to provide goods, but Knowledge as well! If you know someone who could benefit from a visit - don't worry that we're closing! We'll still be able to set them on the right path for their Pet's best health. Now! To the MAIN EVENT!

When we opened in 2006 (as Barking Mad Pet Supplies, but THAT'S another story!) we promised great service, advice and products. We think we've done a pretty good job at doing that over the years. Certainly our many loyal and valued customers seem to agree! In these tough times, people are minimising family expenses or don't have the time to shop in several places at once. More of the household budget is being spent in supermarkets or on-line. Local shopping seems out of favor. We never imagined the huge changes that would happen. We've had significant health problems, the GFC decimated economies and the internet has helped decimate retailers large and small. The last 18 months have been tough and there's no sign of improvement.

Sadly, the time has come for us to move on. We've tried unsuccessfully to find someone to take up the business (but if you know someone who may be interested, please! Ask them to call us!) and now is the time to call it quits. We're going to miss our fantastic customers - many of you have become good friends instead of 'just' a customer.

We need your help!

First, we hope you'll keep coming into the shop until we close. We promise, we'll have the same great service and products. Raw meat will be available until the end - or close to it!

Second, we're asking you to spread the word - we need to liquidate all our stock! If you have friends, family, colleagues or neighbors who might need something - even just a small item - please let them know! To encourage that, we're offering great discounts on all our stock (except dry food and meat products).

Finally, we'll be sending out a few more e-mail newsletters than usual with Specials and Dynamite Deals. We mean it - EVERYTHING has to go - including the freezers, fixtures and fittings!

We're looking forward to seeing you and your friends in the shop - we've had a lot of fun and we intend to make the end a BLAST!

When we say "we're pet nutrition specialists", we're not mucking around. Whilst we're not vets, we've spent countless hours researching what's good and bad for your pet. And why. And we haven't just listened to what the food manufacturers tell us.

When we recommend a particular diet, we can tell you why. If we don't know what's best, we'll find out.

Diesel made us do it!

Diesel - our Wonder-puppy - insisted that we do some fun stuff too! He (quite reasonably!) told us that it's healthy and fun to chew a treat every now and again. Oh - and he likes that frisbee too. And that tug-rope....

That means we have a HUGE range of treats, toys and other things that your cat and dog might also like. Rest assured - Diesel has put his stamp of approval on pretty much all of it!
